Lots of smoke  from the fire reached us here in northern IL. yesterday. It blocked out the sun and we had to close our windows. That's what I get for wishing I could be closer to the BWCA once more this year. :banghead:

As of earlier today, the fire had grown to over 100,000 acres.  Sounds like they do not think it will be completely extinguished until they get some meaningful snow fall.
