Official sign-up thread for the 2013 MNO Deer Hunting Contest.

We will have two winners. We will crown a team and we will also crown an individual! You will operate as a team so even losers can feel what its like to be on a winning team    


Eligibility - You just need to be a member of MNO and plan to hunt deer this year.

Teams - Teams will be chosen at random.  Teams will consist of 3 members and will be drawn on October 12th.  Deer taken before that are eligible as long as they were taken legally and a proper picture is taken.  If there are enough late sign ups we will draw more teams on October 26th.

Photos - Proof of each deer killed will be a photo submitted with a piece of paper with “MNO 2013” on it. No photo shopped photos will be accepted. This is a fun contest so let’s keep it fun by being honest.

Scoring - Each team of 3 can register up to 3 deer submitted by any team member.  You will receive 100 points for a doe or fawn.  Bucks are worth 50 if it has 7 points or less and they are worth 150 points if they have 8 score-able points or better. You also get an additional 10 points per score-able point after 8.

Please try to take a second picture of the antlers so the judges can see the number of points.

End - This contest will end on January 31st and pictures must be submitted by 11:59 PM of that day.  Have fun, be safe and we hope to see a lot of good pictures.

Bonus - 30 bonus points will be awarded if you are in the picture with the deer.

Upgrade - You can upgrade your deer or your team mates deer at anytime during the contest.

After the draft, get with your teammates, pick a name and post it in the team name thread.
