When I was a kid on Pike Bay (Cass Lake) (1960) the old swede Ole Olson that taught me perch fishing told me back in the 40's on Pike Bay most of the Yellow perch were over 2lbs.. :happy1:

He had come over to Northern Minnesota as a teen from Sweden to work as a logger.
