Title: World Record Blue Gill?

Did yawl this new world record Blue Gill caught in AZ. ? 5.78 pounds. That's gonna make a lot of fish sticks.

HD that was caught back in 2014 down at Lake Havasu AZ.  Its a Redear or Shellcracker sunfish not a Bluegill.  They were put in Lake Havasu to eat zebra mussels or some other bad snail and really took off.  Guess they figured out how to get rid of the bad mussels and they are about gone this year (the big sunfish).  I have a couple friends that haul their boats down there and spend the winter.. report was last winter hardly caught any fish... :coffee:

I kinda figured it wasn't a blue gill.
But, it was on the internet. ...so it must be true  :rotflmao:

Pretty impressive fish though.
