Just dropping a note to say hi to everybody. Moved to MN 2 years ago and after getting settled in, I'm out on the hunting/fishing trails. Just returned home from my last day of Duck hunting. I live in Apple Valley, MN so I am in the South zone. I have until Sunday but I'm going to be gone for the weekend so today was my last day. This has been a rough first hunting season for me as I saw no deer, no turkey, missed the few ducks I got shots off at and could never call any geese in close enough to even try a shot. Didn't mess with small game too much this year but I may get out during December to look for some hare or raccoon.
Prepping my bow (something I've never tried before) and hoping to take one last shot at a deer after muzzle loader ends next weekend.
Alas, maybe the upcoming ice fishing season will be productive. Looking forward to being a part of this forum and meeting other hunters around the metro area and beyond.

I would like to announce the newest Minnesota Sportsman was born today. She isn't officially named yet but was born at 12:08 today. She is my second grandchild and will be introduced to the outdoors by dad and Grandpa as soon as she is able to say FISH ON!!! :happy1:
