Chores have been done, the turkey hunting is done.....it's time to head home to the shores of the big pond. Prollly head North Friday night.....yea....I know, I missed the smelt run.....but, maybe hook a steelhead (or looper) in the stream......don't really matter.....

It's almost surreal....much like turkey hunting.....kinda like being one with Mother Nature.....hard to explain....No cell phones, no internet, no people blabbing in your ear.......just you, a fly, and a trout.......

Interesting change of events.....we did not make it up North...
Friends went...and they SLAMED the smelt... :banghead:
Why?
Here's the deal....we was watching TCL and liked this dog they had up for adoption. Friday night, we got a text message say'in that we were approved for the adoption. They were supposed to call us back with details on Saturday....but have not heard anything yet....

So, we've been putzing around the house waiting to hear......
