Title: What kinda egg?

Not sure if a predator got this, or it actually hatched....only found one shell...

How big is it?

I know Cardinal eggs look a lot like that...

About 2 1/2" from end to end, maybe 1 1/4" across...............

Mike, ya might be right...first one is sandhill crane, second is wild TURKEY..... :Turkey:


After some checking, I'm gonna go with a turkey egg, HD!!

Turkey eggs average between 2 to 2.7 inches in length and are just under 1.5 to 2 inches wide, with an average circumference of 5 inches. Turkey eggs vary in weight from 66 grams to more than 110 grams. Midget breeds laying the smallest eggs and heritage breeds usually producing the larger eggs.
