Have you ever seen a Cedar Waxwing in Minnesota?
I thought I had one at the feeder, but by the time I got the camera, it was gone.

Yep. Lots of times. In the fall when the berries are ripe on the trees they come in hoards and feed on them berries till there gone. You wouldn't have seen it near or in an apple tree by chance? They like eating the flowers.

Yup. Herds of 'em. In my crab apple every Spring.

Was for a walk along the St. Croix and there was a female and her babies. They passed berries to each other just like you see on tv. And they were very tame. I was fairly close to them with my dog and the just stayed on the branch as if we weren't even there. Very cool... I think that is the only time I have seen one. Beautiful birds.

I have several apple & pear trees in my yard.... I thought I seen one at my feeders...but, was one of those "can't believe what I'm seeing" moments.
I have not seen it since :(

They're really fun to watch. I think they get buzzed up on the fermented apples, not unlike Glenn and his smurfberries. :rotflmao:
