Video: First ship leaves Twin Ports
The Kaye E. Barker makes its way under the Aerial Lift Bridge Friday afternoon. The laker was the first ship to depart the Duluth-Superior port.
The Kaye E. Barker, escorted by the USCGC Mackinaw, was bound for Two Harbors to load iron ore.

Paul Tregurtha was moored at Frazier shipyards and was supposed to leave Sun afternoon but according to the online schedule it did not leave. We had a view of the canal and were hoping to see it going out but of course did not happen.

our field Union guys work that frazier shipyard alot during the down season!!!!!!!! :happy1: :happy1:
