Title: 870 Re-Build
Post by: HD on August 08/09/22, 04:27:50 PM
I was gifted a rusty 870 Express (I should have taken before pictures) I completely tore it down to clean it up. I used a zippy grinder with a course Scotch Brite wheel to clean up the receiver & glass bead blasted the barrel. Then painted them both with semi gloss black engine paint. I ordered new stocks from Boyd's..... and wala.... it's finished. Time for pheasant season!

The woodwork is a little flamboyant for my more traditional taste, but you did a really nice job.   Good work, HD.
