he sure looks happy!!! how is Cooper doing with him!!!
-
Little cutie!! And wondering the same. How is Cooper doing with him so far?
-
OMG!
Another puppy thread i get to follow!
-
Cooper is adjusting pretty good. This morning when we were outside the pup kept jumping up at Cooper so he is jumping around too. Pretty funny. The wife said she heard Cooper growl a little at him once. I think it will all be ok but we keep a real close watch on the situation. The pup is so small yet. Bob has been a no show so far. She can lay on my office chair and watch the action and seems ok with that so far. She trained Cooper so hopefully she does a good job with Jake too.
-
congrats LPS on the new pup. :happy1: :happy1: :happy1:........he looks like nuttin but gosh darn trouble!!!!!!!!!!! :rotflmao: :rotflmao: like cutey too!!!!!!!
-
He and Cooper are bonding more every day. Gonna be all right.

:happy1: :happy1: i'm sure they will 2 troublemakers together always get along!!!!!!! :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
i'd be more curious if cooper starts getting jealous giving Jake more attention, but then he had buddy, so......maybe not!!!!
-
I am being sure to love Cooper and keep hugging and talking to him. He seems to like being with Jake when we are outside. Keeps trying to get Jake to chase him.

:happy1:i'm sure cooper learned from buddy alot of things, especially someone to play with!!!!!!

Cooper actually has been going into his toy box and getting his favorite things out and laying them on the floor to bait Jake into taking them. Funny to watch. Jake grabs Coopers tail sometimes too and that gets a rise out of Cooper, his isn't too crazy about that.

Nice looking pup!

We had dog toys all over the place. Saw somewhere, mayhaps one of you guys, had a toy box. The wife got one and it is so fun to see which toy Cooper gets out of it. He pokes around until he finds the right one. Fun to see the thought process he goes through.
-
Dogs r funny that way. I like it when they go thru a box of tennis balls just to find the right one.
-
Well the puppy still has not had an accident in the house. (knocked on wood) He loves going outside so as soon as he squeels we are out the door with him. The wife is taking lead as she really loves him and I just follow directions. Today he actually ran all of the way around the outside of the house following Cooper. He can now make it up all of the steps on the deck. The going down part isn't as smooth but it doesn't slow him down. He is sure a little guy. Has a loose stool but starting to solidify more. Tomorrow we are back to reality when the wife goes back to work. That will put more pressure on me. LOL We shall survive!

Cooper and Jake are great buddies. Since Jake is all Golden Retriever he is getting longer hair. They have the same dad and are real similar in things they do. Fun to watch them together.

The hounds look great lps, best buddies for sure!! You sure Jake is pure bread Golden Retriever??? Looking more like mix of lab like Cooper.
-
:pouty:  now i know where MY dog got that habit of finding every piece of wood and carrying it and chewing on it till its shredded!!! :bonk: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

I have a paper with his registered father and mother. I think I said already they have the same father who is a 95 lb Golden. Jake is 5 months old. He was real small when we got him. About 8 lbs at 7 1/2 weeks. He is about 36 lbs now.
-
So Jake has been in the boat a few times but for short trips on the river. We did go fishing today. Was windier than I thought it would be. Very nice out. Were out for a couple of hours total. SO the wind was strong out of the east. All of a sudden I smell some farmer must have been spreading fertilizer. Hmmm. Finally weakened. Well when I went up to pull anchor there is a pile of dog doo right by the anchor rope. I didn't even get upset. Just cleaned it up. I love him. LOL
Oh ya, no fish and noone else was catching them other than a smallmouth a boat by me netted. Didn't even see any bait fish and I was looking for them. And Jake was very very good in the boat other than one blooper.
-
Could be nerves, more time out will cure that, he is young yet but when ya gotta go ya gotta go. Not hijacking lps but our first lab of many yrs ago jumped out of our pontoon while sunny fishing to lift his leg on the shoreline, dogs sure do funny things.
-
they sure do!!! got to love em!!! :happy1:

i'd go with nerves depending on how often he was in the boat prior........or like boober said he just hadda go!!!!! :rotflmao:
i'm more interested in what the wifey said!!!!!!!! :happy1: :rotflmao:
-
Two hours was just too long for him to hold it. A lot of times my dogs peed and pooped when heading for the boat. He will learn.
-
Well I was doing my stretches on my matt in the front room today. Cooper comes and stands right over me and was looking at Jake. I look and here my money clip fell out of my pocket with a fresh $50 bill in it and he had just eaten the $50 bill. I told the wife she can have it once he poops it out. LOLOL Gotta love em. He is more valuable now. I will look for it. Cooper was trying to tell me what Glenns dog's half brother was doing, I just didn't realize soon enough.
-
50 bucks, ouch! Maybe you'll luck out and it'll be still intact tomorrow! Them young pooches will chew on just about anything. I've been eyeing up the calendar 10 weeks or so our 4 legged little Remi tormenting monster comes home..
-
Is this a new pup?
-
Reminds me of the cheech and chong sketch when the dog at the stash.

I will be looking for that $50 turd today. I told the wife I would put it in a zip loc so she can deal with it after work. LOL

No luck yet. Darn. Did see some worms in his poop though so we just did a good ivermectin treatment. We do it once a month and is close to time.

did he spend it at the doggy bar trying to pick up chicks!! :sleazy:

Worms? Ewe, has the dog ever been to the vet?
-
Will they work for fishing?

Worms? Ewe, has the dog ever been to the vet?
not sure if its all that common but its not unheard of. i had one lab that had them...vet gave me meds and that was the last of them :happy1:
i do keep a lookout....but not for 50's!!!! :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Maybe he'll break it down into 2 20's & a 10... :coffee:
Two twentys and a five. He needs to be compensated for the service. Can’t be expected to do it for free.

That might happen with a Canadian $50 as well due to the exchange rate but since they're printed on plastic, it'd probably go right on thru... Easier to find too as they're kinda red colored... :whistling:
-
Pretty much all dogs get worms now and then but you just don't notice it. That is why we worm them to kill the worms they have. AND I forgot all about the exchange rate. Hardly worth having the wife disect the turds for that amount. LOL
