Sept. 2-6: Ducks, teal only, statewide
Sept. 2-17: Canada goose early season, statewide
Sept. 7: Deadline to apply for antlerless deer permits and special hunts (where available)

Here are the changes for the 2023 deer hunting season in Minnesota (https://bringmethenews.com/minnesota-living/here-are-the-changes-for-the-2023-deer-hunting-season-in-minnesota)

Among the changes is that hunters will be allowed to use crossbows during archery season, while non-toxic ammunition will have to be used during the December special hunts on state land.

There are also lower bag limits in north-central Minnesota after back-to-back "severe winters," with hunters in some areas likely to see fewer deer.

The MN deer hunting map is getting pretty complicated these days. :doah:

Was youth hunt always MEA weekend?  I’m not sure I like that…

They obviously don’t close down ATV trails like regular deer opener.

Yes, youth hunt has always been MEA weekend.
