I've been dealing with this for 37 years. I have an extra electrical pathway on my heart. It's called WPW. They usually laser off the extra pathway(ablation) but they can't do mine because it's on my pulmonary artery. I know what causes me to go into afib. Dehydration and eating cold things to fast. It's was a combo plater this time. A little dehydrated and when the pain killer wore off at 1 AM and I woke up I had a little chocolate peanut butter swirl icecream. Yes it was operator error again. Wife has already given me the what for. But that icecream was so good.

Wow, take it easy for a while. I know for you that's pretty hard to do. Maybe time to consider getting a defibrillator installed in you.
An implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) is a device that detects any life-threatening, rapid heartbeat. This abnormal heartbeat is called an arrhythmia. If it occurs, the ICD quickly sends an electrical shock to the heart. The shock changes the rhythm back to normal. This is called defibrillation.

A good friend of mine up by Ely just had one of them implanted.

Scary. Glad your okay

That is good ice cream but not worth it. TRY to go a little easy. I know it's easier said than done.

Hope you can settle down and take things slow for a while. I’m sure it’s tough to do with the new building project, the hunting and trapping season approaching, and getting ready for winter. Stay hydrated and get plenty of rest.

It's been a rough 2 years. A stroke, cardioverted 2 times, a knee surgery and then a total knee replacement. I don't think I like getting old. It's kicking my ass.
I don't eat icecream as often as I want. Wife doesn't ever have it in the house. I was at the cabin without her supervision. :rotflmao:
My cardiologist doesn't think I need a defibrillator yet.

Wow, glad yur still here brother!

Me to brother, me to.

Heal up. The best is yet to come.

Glad you have it back under control DK. Sucks they can't do the ablation to fix it. For most people that fixes it all. I have had 3 ablations for my tachycardia and the could not get it. I take some rythmia pills now that seem to be working for the last 2 years.
