Title: Pick a number
Post by: dutchboy on October 10/06/23, 07:57:15 PM
Smoke and Mirrors will likely get run outa the stadium tomorrow. I'm not certain that a windy day like today would be best if the teams can't throw the ball, or if Michigan's running game will reek havoc.

Pick a winner and how many points they will put up.

I'll take Michigan and 48.

You just know that with a nationally televised game that there is a high school AD somewhere who is drooling of getting Smoke N Mirrors under contract.

After finding a way to lose to a Northworstern team that shouldn't even be playing D1 and turning in a monumental shellacking against Michigan, the bandwagon has come to a screeching halt. Hell, Nebraska beat IL last nite which is more than the Gophers will do. They might accidentally beat Purdue (they really do suck) but that might be about as good as it'll get for this year. Bowl game? Unless they play a powerhouse like Hamline or Macalester, jeez I hope not...

I agree, they just posted up the rodents remaining schedule and there aren't many wins in there. I feel for the kids but they are severely lacking the talent of both the players and coaches to play with the big boys. Might be time for them to drop to DII where PJ would have a better chance.

Totally outplayed. Both sides of the ball. Looked like a college team playing a high school team.

They will be lucky to play in a forgettable bowl game.

College football died for me when they went away from the New Years Day bowl games. Those 4 games were college football. What they have now is just a money grab. There are like 34 bowl games now. It's become nothing more than a participation ribbon for the athletes and administrations. There is no reason for Minnesota to ever be more than mediocre. No reason for them to strive to get to the next level. The money is poured into a communal pot thats divided among the teams. This only gets bigger with addition of the west coast division.

Best thing that can happen at the U is to miss a few of these laughable bowl games.

LPS, this one was pretty easy to predict as the Michigan freshman team is better than what PJ ran out there yesterday.

D - Coach - Final answer.

If Smoke N. Mirrors still doesn't have a QB to replace an up and down Tanner Morgan after all these years...  :embarrassed:  :censored:
