      Saw on our local news that Alumacraft laid off 100 people from their St. Peter plant. Anyone know if they plan on closing the plant entirely? Sure sounds like it.

They have enough Midwest market share that I would be surprised if they closed.
More likely these were additional staff put on during the crazy Covid times and now as things return to normal they are no longer needed.
