With the cold temps and watching a bit of ice form on the lake has me getting the ice fishing bug just a bit. Next week they are actually talking below zero for the north country. Tho I will NOT be the first one on the ice, (age has made me just a bit wiser), I think we might have some fishable ice in the next few weeks.
I just put the chargers on the Vexilars and topped off the auger batteries again. Then I just set up the shack to see what improvements or add ons I will add this year. I am going to add a couple more light bars in different places so I can light up the shack good in different places. Even going to add a switch panel so I can choose from them.
What's everyone else doing to get things ready?

Nuttin till :deer: :fudd: is over, but when I get home get my stuff out of the rafters and make sure my harpoon is sharp.
Ice lines are already checked.

I may have to try to get out this winter. Haven't been ice fishing in probably 10 years.
There's something about old fat guys and thin ice that just don't go together.
