Post by: HD on April 04/04/25, 05:54:38 PM
I've been piecing this together for a while now. This is what it looks like before I glue it together. What do you think?

You gonna cook that turkey on it  :rotflmao:

Fireplace looks great. My concern might be getting enough air?

Looks great. I can hear the beer opening as you kick back for a well deserved celebratory toast.

yeah, they recommend some landscaping glue for retaining walls to adhere the blocks together to keep them in place...not sure how well that crap would work cause I never used it before.

May have to take a brick out on each side to get draft.  Like Glenn said.

Are there holes in the metal liner? My "fire pit" is just a piece of 48" round, 1/4' thick stainless steel pipe about 18' high.

Looks good HD.  With the metal insert you might need to add a vent tube or two so it gets a bit of draft.  It would be a lot less smokey fire that way.
