some "unfortunate incident" happen recently ?
-
no, thank God, Desparado!
just ran across this tidbit of helpful information and i thought i'd just take the opportunity to cover that base, before someone runs into trouble of a larger proportion ;)

What would cause undersized mussels?
-
well, i would have to say a sudden drop in water temperature :o

There are many different kinds of mussels in MN, 5 out of 6 are inedible (toxic believe me I tried). Out of the rest a couple might even be legal to harvest. I actually did read up on this once and got confused so decided it wasn't worth figuring it out.
You must know your mussels first.
