New dog will be around soon as I break down the wifey enoughto say OK.

Since I'm not good with dog names lets here some of yours. One for male and one for female.
Was thinkin Duke and Dutches.

I have a Duke! Great dog... Great name! I have always thought that the names gauge, Fred, judge, senator, and guythathunts were good! (If you name one of them guythathunts I will take you hunting forever!!!).

 I HAD A DUKE ...  WAS A GREAT DOG . HOW ABOUT LOLA  , RITA,  CASEY ,  ANGEL ,  MACKINZY , OSHI ,  SASHA , AND FOR THE MALE , BUTCH , CASSIDY ,  TINY,  WOLF, BAXTER, RAULPHY, ROVER, GROVER, HERMIT, KERMIT, SANDY , ANYWAY  I HOPE THAT MAY HELP !!

I like the good old standard names like Mike, John, Sam, Chuck or maybe J.J. (Jeramiah Johnson).  Maybe just "Slick"; that could be a male or female.  In one of my obedience classes, a guys dog was kinda pudgy so he named him Tank.  For a gal, try April, May, or June depending on when you get her. 

Hey what about A Boy Named Sue.  Then he'd be the toughest dog around.   ;D

Gauge if its a Male.
Tina or Missy if its a Female.

Now all I gotta do is sell Wifey on the idea.

Hard to go wrong with a name like Duke. That conjures up visions of one tough SOB, John Wayne. My fishin' buddy, Crappie Keith, named his lab Buck. Great name for a lab and Buck is a fabulous dog! I never met a black lab I didn't like. Years ago one of my hunting buddies had a fantastic black lab he named Cap, short for Captain. He always went with us when we went icefishing on Mille Lacs. Every once in a while, he would come trotting back to our fishouse, proudly carrying a frozen walleye in his mouth. Followed shortly thereafter by the rightful owner with a big grin on his face. ;D :taz:DIRTBALL2 ;)
