This is an 8 pt that I took a few years back. I guess I didn't realize how nice of a rack it was until after we had cut the rack off with part of the top of the skull...what can I (or better yet, what could you) do with this to make a really nice mount with what I left intact to work with? Thanks !

looks like all you need is a cape and you can shoulder mount it

Here is my first buck by bow from 1999. Obviously didn't do a shoulder mount but I wanted to do something special with the antlers. My cousin did this for me.

that is what i was going to suggest. thats what we had to do with my sons horns. after the taxidermist f'd up the cape from his deer.

I have several capes available to do a shoulder mount for you. Or several options as well just to do the horns. Anywhere from custom laser engraved plaques with photos and a small story all the way down to a simple plaque.

I agree, all you need is a cape. That will mount up nice. nice deer.
