Strange antler growth.  I think I would shoot it.

I did a google...

One article said damage to the rack during the velvet growth phase would likely grow back natural next year.

Whereas damage to the pedicle would likely cause deformed growth every year.  That looked like a problem at the base.

Poor little guy.

Well look at it this way. While he's sniffing/ checking out that doe, he can give her a little goose!! :sleazy: :rotflmao:

Maybe that's a plastic prosthetic antler, and it just got too warm in the sun....   Hope it doesn't embarrass him, it appears to be doing just that to this pup. Glenn's been called lop-eared before, I know..... :rotflmao:
