i heard about that last year. but i thought it was just a bunch of guys doing it amongst themselves. with the pictures those 2 have posted that ice looks a little scary.

A friend called me yesterday said he and his kid where out on pelican. They had 1 fish when he called. Haven't heard anything after do I assume he didn't do much better. Said lots of spear houses out and he said the lake was as flat as a pancake and didn't see any ice heaves. 18 inches of ice.

deadeye, i dont doubt you, i think we/they use a different access then you guys do?????? i'm not sure as i was only on it once. and when i left that lake it was snowing like a mother!!!!!!!!

with the water so low on this lake, is there any word on it freezing out?????? i'd suppose with the pike season closed and the snow conditions noones been out there lately???????
