Reminder: Firearms and muzzleloader hunters who want to harvest antlerless deer in a deer permit area designated as lottery this hunting season are reminded they must purchase their license by Thursday, Sept. 5.

Got mine 4 days ago. Where I normally hunt it's bucks only. But my brother got another spot closer to Duluth and I put that area on when I bought the licence which is a permit area. So my odds are getting better to get some venison. Love my other spot and I'm hunting there opener. But if I don't get a buck there, I will go to the other spot later in the season. good luck.

Both my boys and I received ours in the mail today.

our group ended up with 2 permits for 6 guys. one in permit area 197 and 1 in area 169.

No need for them in 221 as it went to intensive harvest this year. So far we have taken two does this year.
