50 years and 355 days, and I've finally killed my first deer with a bow. Passed up countless small bucks over the years. Thank you Deadeye.
Very lucky due to a poor shot. Dont know if I hit a small branch or it was the release that I had to borrow from Deadeye due to my release breaking. But the arrow flew with a lot of tail swing. Kind of cork screwed.

Way harder than a gun.

I bow hunted in my teens, early twenties, and off and on again over the years. Never got close enough. When my oldest daughter said rifle hunting was to easy after 3 successfully seasons. She got her 1st bow kill on her 1st sit and her second kill on her 3rd sit.

It's been a learning experience over the years. I have learned a lot, made new friends, and made memories.

yea, bow hunting definetly makes you a better gun hunter. :happy1:
I've given up bow hinting for a while with no place to go now, although I haven't been serious about looking either. maybe when I retire!!!!!!!

Congrats. It is fun when you can put some venison in the freezer before the gun season starts.
