Red Door Resort
 
Ice Report 1/23: The Red Door Access will be open to all traffic - without any weight restrictions - this coming weekend. Weekend, Friday-Sunday road passes are $35 for vehicle only and $50 for vehicle and wheelhouse.

We have roads to the first break, second break and mud flats, including Bomaback, Welmer, Resort, Pantry, Fishhouse, Fletcher, Bitcher and Eileen’s. Our Ice Team is working on plowing wheelhouse slots on the flats.

A couple of notes: (1) Drive slow – 5 mph – as the ice is still fragile relative to how it usually is this time of year, and (2) The warm weather has, and will continue to, create heaves at our access. We have a bridge in place and it will likely need adjustment as the weekend wears on. Thank you for your patience if you are temporarily held up getting on or off the ice.
