Any one been on the big lake lately? It's been a few years since I've spent much time out there but thinking about making a run over.

I haven't been on the lake for a while but the Mosomo Pt PA is only ~ 6 miles from us & my brother rode through there on 1 of his bike trips while we were up last. It was probably ~ the 2nd or 3rd week of May & the lot was pretty full. He talked to the person over there that was doing the AIS monitoring & a couple groups leavin. They all said it was pretty slow over there then. So we went up to URL the Wednesday after Memorial Day. Pretty busy there & it was really slow in the morning when it was overcast & windy. Did much better after lunch when it cleared off & the wind went down. All ours came off the 1st break(6-8') just north of the channel that day.

I'm kind of hearing its hit or miss over there. I might just decide to make my yearly trip up to Red just because. See what the weather does the next couple of days.

Friend of mine called a little while ago. Said his kid was up on winnie, 37 below, his propane froze up, so did his regulator. There's a reason I don't fish in this stuff.
