We hit Superior at sunrise and she was like glass.  We trooled for 5 hours and only had 1 small coho.  My buddy finally let me put on a spoon that I had just purchased.  It was chartreuse and orange with black spots.  We proceeded to catch 12 lakers in the next 2 hours.  The last 2 were a crazy double. 
    We went back out 2 days later and lost the hot lure to a huge fish in the 1st 15 minutes on the water.  Spent the next 5 hours without a bite.

Looks like a great time to me.  Sorry about the lost lure.

My buddy found 3 of the exact same lure at a hardware store in algoma Wisconsin

Looks like a fun time. Awesome! lucky find on the lure. Now that he found 3 of them, they probably won't bite it now.

This doesn't make any sense. "We went back out 2 days later and lost the hot lure"

How did you not pick up a bunch more of those lures in the two days off the water?  :bonk: :bonk: :shocked:

Trust me.  We looked everywhere.  We found them in Wisconsin
