Well after many years of Deer hunting with the same group, things kind of went south after the two owners we stayed with passed away.
So, I did this thing.
I picked up a used cargo trailer and converting it to a Hunting shack/Toy hauler for my son and I.
Lot of work to get done before Deer hunting but it's been a labor of love. 🙂
Plus, it's taken my mind off all the Election nonsense and the world falling apart we keep hearing about! 😒

Thanks guys.
Throwing the wheeler in it this weekend and heading up for some scouting.
I put in some flush mount tie downs and only tacked the carpet in the front so it can be rolled up for the wheeler. :happy1:

Outstanding!!! I hope you guys find a perfect, productive patch of woods to hunt for years to come. How old is your son?
-
perfect leech, down side not enough window's to crack incase one has bad gas....just thinking out loud, deer camp usually involves chile and beans.

My son is 33 and could have been a little more help on the project! Lol. For this season we are just going back to the stands we used last year which we have taken some deer out of but never anything really big. The hope is next year we can go back to our old spot and pull out a nice one or two like in my Avatar.

It has a roof top vent as well so cracking the window and the top vent should work well. I did pick up another window for the other side but just not going to have time to get it in this season. I did put a CO detector in as well. :happy1:

Well that's a plus, and if the gas gets really bad drop the rear gate or side door.nice to have a mobil man cave leech. congrats.Nice place to hang out at home when your wife is having a bad day, once ya get satilite.

Very nice. How handy too that you can run your wheeler in it. You are set to go hunt anywhere now. Good job!

Looks pretty darn good to me. You will really be mobile and ready to run over to a hotspot. Really cool.

Now to try out the Toy hauler part with a little Deer scouting trip up north in the morning.

I hope you installed a direct vent heater in your palace Leech. Then you can sleep contented without vents open to hopefully save your life. Then you really have yourself a nice pleasure palace.

Well I'm going to be using the big buddy heater while wake and have a very good sleeping bag. I'm sure I'll be fine, but if I don't give a report back by Monday. :undecided: :surrender: :rotflmao:

Add some grip tape to rear door.
Looks great!!!

Well LPS I broke down and ordered a D/vent Nu Way 3000 stove and installed it this weekend. Darn thing works pretty nice. I'm going to put in a 1/2" fresh air vent pipe right at the bottom of the stove to give it some more combustible air so I don't need to still leave a window cracked. I also put a 5" 90 over the 3" 90 at the top to help save my insulation from melting which worked out great. I vented out the side because there is just insulation on the ceiling and nothing to support the pipe. That worked out pretty well also. I just put the pipe in when in use and cap it when traveling or storing with a rubber cap. Now my wife and you will still have to hear from me! :rotflmao:

You would have needed that heater this past weekend.

looks good leech!! and good idea!! :happy1:

Well when I went up last weekend for a test run it snowed and got down to 25 at night. Used the big buddy which worked good but had to have the window and vent cracked and still felt a little light headed, so got the new one in. The steak still grilled even 25 degrees cold out! :happy1:
-
very nice!!! enjoy!!!

That should do you well Leech! :happy1: :happy1:

I put a piece of floor tile under it but it feels like it's getting more hot then just the pan? May have to try the brick idea. :happy1:
