Just read an article in today's paper about these guys. Pretty crazy. The article reads they usually recover 2 vehicle's a week that broke through the ice.
It said the 2 weeks over the holidays they recovered 13 items, one being a fishhouse on big watab. They show a picture in the paper of a specially designed pontoon, and they have 2 different sizes depending on what they need to recover. They also use ice certified divers. Bet that ain't cheap.
After reading that I'm not so sure I am in any hurry to fish around here any time soon. They said they've been from north of brainerd to the cities.
