Seen a video on IDO from a news channel that a truck hauling rocks broke through the ice on LOTW'S NEAR  flag island.

There is a short video on Youtube about it.  A side dump semi fully loaded with granite rock.  Looks like it was for a shoreline.  By Flag Island.  Was still on top of the ice at about 3 oclock.

Wouldn’t someone verify?
Ice thickness?
Good/bad ice?
Weight of the vehicle and load?
Where are they gonna find someone to pull that SOB out of the water?

Could very well be.  They are going to have to unload that someway even if by hand to at least move it I would think.

Seen pics of when they rip-rapped our shoreline & they were working in a little water towards the end but nothing like that. We now have at least 8' of rock everywhere & 10-12' in some spots, fairly shallow too as the end of our dock is normally in ~ 5-6 fow
