I forgot to post 2 weeks ago.  Daughter picked a GALLON at my parents home.   My mom was over the moon.  She got to make 35 pints of jelly with her granddaughter.  Yum yum,   my favorite jelly by a mile.

Not exactly wild but we have some in the garden, started out with 5 bushes & there must be close to 20 now. We've been getting quite a few berries off 'em almost everyday for ~ 2 weeks. :happy1:

Agreed gunner, raspberry bushes spread like weeds, neighbors planted 4 little plants 5 years ago now they engulf they're entire garden, but gives they're kids something to do besides playing video games all day, that and they raise chickens the young boyz have plenty to do.

Even after taking out the ones that are givin us berries each season it seems like there's always quite a few more the next year. We just have a little garden, 4 (Amazon)raised beds ~ 6-8" high that are 4'X4' along with 5-6 tomato plants besides the raspberries, & they would definitely overrun everything else if they weren't looked after.

When we moved here about 16 years ago we noticed all of the wild raspberries.  We picked some and the horses came over to see what we were doing.  As we were picking they nosed right in and tried a few.  They realized they like them so now we don't see near as many of the ones the horses can get to.  LOL  That is ok.

Neighbor across the road has a bunch of boggy ground to the south of his house & it's full of the wild ones, but nobody picks 'em. Pretty tough to get at 'em, except for the  :deer: & other critters.

2 of them Snow.  A buckskin and a gray.  Good ol horses.  Cooper used to bark at them.  Now he hangs with them and it is hilarious.  Of course his ulterior motive is sneaking a meadow muffin now and then.

Used to ride a lot.  I was even in the Posse here.  We had training on finding lost people in the woods.  Was pretty interesting too. Did parades too.   Don't ride much anymore.  The horses are just our pets/friends that keep the grass down for us now.

Ruby enjoys her fair share of ranch raisins too. What's up with that?
