Title: Moose crossing
Post by: GrandpaTom on July 07/19/21, 10:48:53 AM
How is this for a moose crossing???
OVERPASS
Smart moose make use of an overpass designed for kids as a way for them to get to school.

Ah yes Eagle River Alaska, great memories from years ago working in the oil fields on the slope, couple of us rented a cabin right on the eagle river (when we were'nt in oil camp)

on the edge of this small town class 5 rapids that ate our lunch canoeing on day's we felt froggy pounding old swell brews, always had moose walking the river, never had this foot bridge either but times have changed I see,at the time eagle river was 13 miles from anchorage now it's a suburb....urban sprawl...

thanx for posting this G.T..fun times back in the day.As much as Alaska is a sportsman's dream to par-take in it's beauty and opprotunity for adventure, one thing I truely missed was a good ole walleye shore lunch, salmon, trout halibut gets old, nothing like pan fried walleye and tatar's.
