I'd rather watch re-runs of Big Bang, Two and half Men and Tool Time than the crap that's on now. :happy1: :happy1:

King of Queens with Arthur in the basement is as funny as it gets to me.

I always thought "Everybody Loves Raymond" was more of a documentary than a comedy.  Just sayin...  :rotflmao:

I agree Barry. I got a real charge out of Jerry Stiller on Seinfeld and he made King of Queens for me.

I like comedies going back even further, only I find I have ulterior motives these days. Andy Griffith for the old cars and Green Acres for the tractors!  :happy1:

I used to like "Cheers". Coach was the greatest. I liked "Coach", too, now that I think about it.

I haven't watched comedies in a LONG time. Not interested. The best for me by far are M*A*S*H and Andy Griffith. Best comedy character easily is Barney Fife. Used to like Sanford and Son and of course who can leave out All in the Family with Archie and the Meathead.

Barney Miller. Dick Van Dyke. Whatever show had Steve Urkle. Some of them British shows weren't too bad, either. Are You Being Served. Red Green.

Couldn’t agree more about Barney Fife, Ken. He made that show.
I’m guessing most on here never saw Amos and Andy. Made for TV for a couple years in the early 1950s. It was syndicated and on again in the mid to late 60s until it was pulled because of pressure because it portrayed African Americans in a bad light. It was some of the funniest TV I’ve ever seen.

Yep all the above are great shows, the only thing I'll add is Benny Hill. Maybe it was cuz I was pretty young but he made me laugh.

Used to watch that when I was in college. Was on later in the evening so the kiddies wouldn't see naughty things they shouldn't. Brits sense of humor is frickin' hilarious!  :happy1:

It took Don Knotts 20 takes to get through this scene because he laughed every time Floyd yelled "Nip It".

There have been some real duds for TV comedy's. But there have been real good ones also. One of the best that was billed as a drama but really was funnier then hell was Boston Legal with William Shatner. I will binge watch that anytime I come across it.

I’m with you on that, Dutch. Watched it when it was a current program back in the late 90’s early 2000’s?  Been watching that over the last few months on whatever streaming service it’s on. It’s a good break from watching some of the other series that are available now.

I found that on Hulu or some other streamer service the other day.  We watched the 1st episode of season 1.  It holds up pretty well today.  :happy1:
