The fishing was sure good this last weekend.  I hope it doesn't slow down with this cold spell.  How have the reast of you benn doing?

Yes it was pretty good this w/e on the panfish. Not a bunch of fish were actually iced though as this was the first time I've had the little cub out in the shack. He had a blast but had a tough time gettin the hang of a good hook set. Towards the end I did the hookset and let him reel em up.

Let me tell that little tike is a jiggin machine. Showed him how to set it in the rod holder an he replied "no me hold it." If that bobber wasn't movin he'd make it move. Can't wait to get him out again.

The bite was pretty good but you couldn't tell it from ur float. Just used a flasher and a spring bobber to out fish 3 others 2 to one. Bittin pretty lite yet.

Was out again last night. I didn't get going in time and was a bit late as there were tons of sunnies there right away. They were real nice and willing to bite, too bad I wasn't there an hr earlier. The crappie action wasn't what I was hoping it was though.
