Mel?s Sportshop, Hwy 23 and Ruth Street (320-796-2000) Green Lake is still good for walleyes with fish coming from 17 to 35 feet of water during daylight hours. Shore fishermen have reported some real nice walleyes caught after dark on Rapalas with some of the fish biting in 1 foot of water. The inlet at 212 Mill Inn continues to be good. With the bass opener coming up, reports from walleye fishermen can not keep the smallmouth off their hooks. Note also that the special regulations on Green Lake have been lifted and statewide regs now apply. Norway Lake has also been good for Walleyes and some Northern pike in 10-15 feet of water with shiner minnows and Rapalas being great baits to use. Nest Lake has been fair for walleye and northern but Sunfish have bit very well recently. Rapala Husky Jerks have really tore up the walleyes on Foot Lake last week in shallow water

Mud lake is doing great on sunfish right now. 3-5 fow with worms being the prefered bait. Nice sunnies close to half a pound, not quite but close.
