So I am sitting here at work, 3am bored out of my skull, working the graveyard shift, I work at a homeless shelter and due to a staff shortage we all have to pull one 11pm - 7am Fri & Sat Shift a month.  I hate working nights.  It really does not help much when I have to sit here and anticipate picking up my new boat at 10am this morning.  I am going out of my skull with excitement.  I am getting a sweet deal on a 1999 Starcraft superfisherman 176 SC with a 125 merc and all the toys on it.  I sold my other boat last fall and did not know if I was going to be able to replace it this year.  Thank god the wife is happy with me and said go for it! I love that woman!  I am looking forward to getting it out on the water this year.  My other boat was older and not real wide w/ a walk thru windshield that I hated.  I am going to feel like i am fishing from my living room with the width of this rig and the side console.
I have been reading this forum for over a year now, its really neat to see how much its grown.  I hope I have a chance to meet with some of you this year as I should have some time to actually do some fishing this year.  I am also pumped about this team fishing contest MNO has going.  The secret lake I fish on should prove to be a winner in the biggest bass part of the contest. You should see the monsters we catch by accident while we are fishing for eyes. 4-5lb all the time! If you had a rock bass (bait thieves) portion of the contest I know I could take top honors for the biggest rock bass!

Here are a few pics of some of the bass we catch!

GOT IT!  Mines not new either, its a 1999 Starcraft superfisherman 176 w/ a 125 merc on it.  I got a steal of a deal on it.  Sure was a nice day to pick up my boat, take it to the car wash and wax it up.  Sure is a lot bigger than the last one I had as it took alot longer to clean.  Can't wait to put it in the water.

Later all!!!!!

I'm happy for you. It's the greatest feeling.
I picked mine up from storage yesterday and ended up having to work most of today - but damn it feels good knowing it's sitting in the garage.

Its sooo nice to finally have spring here, the snow is gone, the sun is warm.  I was actually breaking a sweat from the suns rays yesterday when I waxed my baby up.  Now I just need to find some open water to give her a test run.  Here are some pics of it.  I feel like a pround Papa with a new baby.  I must have sat in it for an hour, boy those seats are comfy!!!
