What is ESPN doing

It is bad enough that they have to show the world cup soccer games, but I am watching sportscenter and they have two guys analyzing a goal. ???  I think there are a lot of other things going on in the real sports (MLB, NBA finals, NHL finals) that soccer could just be a 5 second clip at the end of the show.  Good thing my kids are sleeping since I don't want them exposed to this game at all.

Hey...whats wrong with soccer? I used to love playing soccer when I was young. Its great exercise too!

i used to play it in school and in the backyard with the neighborhood kids.
I broke my first bone playing soccer.
I wish I was still in good enough shape to play.

I think we could do without the riots and brawls that go hand and hand with european games though ::)

C'mon...let the kids play. wghat kid doesn't like kicking a ball around and trying to score a goal! I bet you would like watching if your kids were playing...

My kids play soccer, and it's been an adjustment for me.? I never played the sport growing up, and never cared to watch it.? But watching my kids play...it's starting to grow on me.? Just watching them progress from one year to the next is exciting!? I am starting to understand the positions, and terminology.? I still don't watch it on TV.? Maybe some day.
