Friday 6/13 Report

The weather for Friday was for nasty storms most of the day so, I called my clients at 2:00 am and told them to look at the radar and forecast of 100 percent chance of thunder storms all day. They were more than happy to cancel. Naturally all the storms on the radar vanished within 2 hrs and we could have gone out. 

 Thank you National weather service geeks! 

Just figures since it was Friday the 13th.




Saturday 6/14 Report.

I had 3 guys scheduled today but it seemed that 2 of them did a little to much partying  and only Dino was capable of showing up. Therefore we removed two of the boat seats and I held a silent memorial for the missing crew members. ( I can't repeat the eulogy wording) . Fishing was decent most of the morning with the smallies in a light bite mood and a little more tricky than usual to catch.


We caught smallmouth in every area that we worked today, but I must admit after fishing all the weekdays the weekends are not as much fun to fish. My hats off to those that have no other options but to fish weekends during the day. I remember those days only to well. There is no boating etiquette on Geneva . 
The smallmouth are tending to show up more in the deeper water as they are entering a transition period. Eighteen to twenty eight ft was the most productive today.


** The angler is never a has-been. He enjoys a lifetime of participation which continues through noon, then on into the sunset, and even into the eventide of life.
