Fished the Team tournament on Potato and/or Belle Taine on Sat. Fun tournament, well run, great food, great prizes, thanks to all involved!

We ended up 2nd with big fish thrown in the mix with a nice fat walleye that hit a rig. We also caught 'eyes on jigs and shiners as well.

Smallies were on fire as well, and some real brutes to boot! Here's a nice one caught on a Salmo Hornet...

Fishing in the Park Rapids area continues to be solid!

Next time you're back up, give myself or Jason Durham a call and we'll put you on some serious smallmouth action!

The PR area is great for smallies, Bottle, Potato, Belle Taine, and a plethora of other lakes hold good numbers of smallies...

Growing up we caught a lot of smallmouth in Belle Taine. We also used to go up to Sand? Is it big sand? I can't remember the exact name. Anyways, besides that the fishing in the PR area is incredible. There are so many great lakes areound. I think my favorite is the Crow Wing Chain.

If anyone wants to live up there or buy a cabin my Uncle is selling his. It is in Nevis about 15 miles from Park Rapids:

Big Sand Tim, great lake. Great walleye fishing too!

Good luck to your uncle on selling it, living in the area is a dream come true. Not to mention Nevis is VERY close to Belle Taine, Potato, and Blue!
