i know its been awhile sense i gave a report, and its a little harder during the summer sense my main target is Northern Pike.

steiger lake: i visit this lake often, huge numbers of trophy bass in this lake. If anyone has ever not beleived that the catch and release rules of bass and northerns 24-36inchs isnt working then this lake will prove you wrong. each time im out i fish either under a slip bobber or right off the bottom. the bass will take any northern bait you throw out there, including a 8 inch sucker minnow (primary bait i use) northerns seem to be a little picky this year, i have only landed maybe 6 in the metro area, biggest being a 36incher. sunfish have gone up in size and you can catch them right next to the cattails on any type of live bait.

lake ann- this lake is a tough one to figure out this year, the water is very stained this year and may have something to do with the bite on this lake. only caught i northern so far and it was 32inchs and was a fat one. crappie numbers seem to have gone down as well. sunfish size has dropped as well. most of the crappies can be caught in 3-10 ft of water with a minnow.

lake susan- this lake has been a bust this year, nothing for walleyes have come out of there this year at all, northerns seem to of dissappeared. enough said

lotus lake- this lake is a great lake to catch some early season walleyes off of. i havent been back there sense opener, but most of the walleyes can be caught in the evening in water from 5-18 FOW
