Smallmouth action is hot!!

Hey folks,
The best Smallmouth action of the entire season is in full swing right now on the Big V. The shallow water spawning areas are on fire and the smallies are hitting everything that moves right now.

Spinnerbaits, jerkbaits, any number of topwater and soft plastic presentations and I am really hammering them on #3 mepps inline spinners. We are averaging about 50 fish a day and many of those are in the 15 to 18 inch range.

This great smallmouth bass action should last at least another few weeks and it will even get better in the next few days, as we approch the full moon. If you enjoy fishing for Smallmouth bass you need to get your butt up here, because it doesn't get any better than this.

Can't believe that nobody is up here fishing for Smallies this year. I'm getting 30 to 40 fish a day, in just a few hours of fishing. Many of them are over 18 inches and the 20 inchers are more common than you think.

Oh well, I guess I'll just keep them all to myself.
