I am considering shooting in an archery league this winter and I am curious how the rest of you that have participated in leagues felt about your experience. It cost $125 for the season but at the end of the league there is a banquet where they award a bunch of prizes and have a big meal and stuff like that, so you kinda get your money back. The owner told me that last season they gave away 7 new bows at the banquet.

I shot in a league last year.  I was a good experience and I plan to do it again this year.  It also cost me around $125 but we supplied the banquet food and there were no prizes.  :cry:
Maybe I should try some place else :archery:

I shoot in a league at wolftrack archery in blaine. They have a 300 league and a hunter league where you shoot indoor 3D targets. I thonk it was around 100 dollars for the season.

Welcome  Stick/rod  Glad to have you here at MNO. I have never shot at Wolftrack but I know a person who spoke highly of it.

 ::welcome::

JT archery in Harris is going to start their archery league next week if anyone is interested. I just joined. It is 11 weeks, there is a banquet at the end of the season and there will be a bunch of prizes. $150 to enter. JT is a great guy so anyone local should try and get there.

It is supposed to be a money up front type of thing , but when I talked to Jt yesterday he said that he would be willing to work with people because he has had over 20 people drop out this year.

I also shoot at WolfTrack in Blaine.  Its a fairly good setup with brush, a moving target, and other shots which are not straight on easy shots.  Its not too hard for the kids though either.
