Are you from Chisolm BiggA?  I know it's not a huge town, so I was just curious if you know Mike Pouh?

Well the leaves are down but the birds just were not to be found. We got 1 grouse and 1 woodcock.  I dont know much about grouse hunting but other people said it was because it was so windy and cloudy that we did not see many birds. Probably would have helped to have a trained dog but all in all a day in the woods is still better than a day on the couch.

Yeah.... I was up close to there last weekend also, real windy on Saturday... The birds arent up in #'s where I thought (hoped) they'd be, but yeah, grouse seem to stay put, and hunker down when its windy, I got one for the game bag also, but we should consider ourselves lucky I guess cause I must have talked to half a dozen grouse hunters Sat/Sun and most saw a few birds, but none got any, and they all had dogs!
