I haven't tried those but last year and the year before I tried using the Remington Copper Solid 12 gauge 3" mags.  After a couple of boxes of those, my shoulder felt like Mike Tyson just got unleashed on me.  It truly was impossible for me to continue to shoot and try to be accurate.  I plan to use the 2 3/4"ers this year.

I don't think the extra speed I was trying to get was worth the pain and not to mention, I still don't have the scope sighted in because I just couldn't continue.

might have to check these out. i shoot 3inch supremes and yes don i know what you mean, after about 5 shots with the shotgun i start to flinch. but at 20 some dollars a box i try to stick to just one box of sighting in shells otherwise gets way to expensive. now i think its funny you notice the recoil when you shoot at the range but when theres a deer there and you shoot you dont feel a thing ;D

Boy I tell ya Ive been slug hunting for many a years now well maybe not as long as some however I've been shooting a remington 870 with a rifled barrel and rifled sights  I have been quite impressed with a technology in slugs that have developed in the last decade.  I swore by the rem slugs for a long time then switched to the winchester premium sabots and last year wanted to try those new hornaday slugs whoa boy!!!  I polished a buck at almost 100 yds 97 to be exact with the range finder and boy are those slugs on!! theyre fast and very deadly!!
