I just bought the new Primos Ground Max Vision blind yesterday at Gander Mountain, https://shop.primos.com/pc-1146-123-the-vision.aspx

Anyone else have one yet or know anything about them? Looks like a great product, the 360 degree shooting windows with the magnetic closures are a great feature.

Im curious to see how it works for ya pat. Grand pappy will bought Double Bull Archery earlier this year, its the exact same thing as a 360 minus the magetic screens. I can see the removable flaps being a huge selling point. Many people are itchy shooting through the screen, they just have to have the confidence to make the shot and to burn a broadhead practicing through it. I have yet to have an issue shooting through the screen but I shoot fixed blades.  I love my matrix, shot geese, turkeys, deer, coyotes and I prefer hiding on the ground than finding a tree now. The whole concept of being on the level of the quarry really gets the blood flowing. I whacked a doe duck opener weekend at 4 feet, she never had a clue and well I was the consistency of jello after the shot being able to see my reflection in her eye.

I do wanna see how well they hold up vs when they were a small company and made in MN The nice thing of them going to a company like primos is the price drops considerably. I have 4 blinds from DB and they are still doing great. I am gonna miss the service of running up highway 10 with a case of beer to have them fix something for me.

If they hold up half as well as they did before Primos bought them you will have spent money well worth it Pat.

Just remember scent proof it, push the floor flaps out as another scent barrier, brush the snot out of it and remove ground debris so when your feet move you dont make any noise. The downside to blinds is you lose a lot of light the last 20 mins of night and first 20 mins of light. Lighted pins, quality scope is a must to make use of those 40 to 50 mins a day. Also wear all black, not camo, you want to camo yourself to the inside of the blind, not the outdoors. Also keep 3 sides of the blind closed up, otherwise you run the risk of shadowing yourself, with the sides down all around you can see a ton of movement. Pick your location wisely and kill ya something.

Take a look at the pic, you can see how your movement is going to be very easy to see. I wish I took a picture of the side up. But with the right cover you can hide anywhere. Hell we did a bowhunt for geese in the middle of a stubble field once...
