Any body have any opinions on bringing the wife and kid(s) to deer camp. This is the first year that my wife and 9 mon. old son will be joining me. keep in mind that deer camp for myself is my grandpa's house; heat, electric, food, iron water - the basics, and grandpa and grandma stick around the house. Tips? Opinions? Just Curious.

I figured that was just a fringe benifit of bringing her with - motivation to stay in the bush all day.

I would just make it clear that deer hunting you are going to be away from the house most of the day and your more than likely going to be gone early in the morning and not get back till late, then its off to bed for the next day...have them bring with plenty of things to keep them occupied.  Maybe she should bring with some kind of hobbys she likes to do or something that your grandma and her would like to do.
