Well the big bays have frozen over! theres about 2 inches on them, but I wouldnt go out on that ICE yet! The ice on the big bays is (IFFY) ice. In black lake you can find sunnys and crappies in 15-20 at edge of weed lines. But becarefull of open water in channel area! cooks bay is kicking out walleyes in the afternoon - evening. along weedlines. carefull on this bay to there has been open water in the middle of the bay! most of the ice along shoreline and out 100 yards or so has been around 7 inches Just becarefull and drill a lot of holes in front of you as youwalk out on the bays and main lake so you know what kind of ice you have.
