Ventured out into Isle bay the other day. We had an open mind and enough people that we tried more than a few spots and tried for more than a few species. We made an attempt at catching crappies, walleyes, northern and perch. Things were pretty slow and it was very cold. A buddy got a couple small walleyes to go just as the sun was hitting the horizon. Those were caught and small green ice glow jigs tipped with fatheads. Had the camera down and didnt see much. Had a few lookers and lots of perch but they were pretty tight lipped as well. The most excitment for the day was a 36 inch pike. That was it. Slow goings. I'm just just about anyone could of done better than we did but we gave her heck.
