With the rapidly improving ice conditions, we will be plowing roads
on Forest and Green lakes on sunday. Average ice is between 11''
and 14'' on area lakes. Aways be careful out there!

Green Lake:
As always, stay away from the channel between little and big Green.
That never freezes enough for vehicle travel. Always check the slot
limits signs at the accesses! Crappies and Eyes been hitting on the
east side by launch in deeper water and at the mouth at south bay.
Forest Lake:
Willow Bay seems to be hot right now in 10-15 FOW, northerns hitting
all day. Eyes and crappies hitting around 4-7 PM
South  Center:
Crappies been hitting at Pancake island at channel and south side.
Chisago: All bass under 12'' must be released. As normal fishing is
good around Eagle nest and the A-frame. Check out the slot limit
signs at the access!
North Center: Crappies and eyes biting around Doctors island and
Nelsons.

No Dennis this is Minnesota where it has been brutally cold lately, this is not warm Dakota! We really do have 14 feet of ice on our lakes allready. I live on a lake in woodbury that's only 8 to 10 feet deep and there is 14 feet of ice here too.

weekend, depending on the weather and ice condition..

I would but dont have a shack this year and it is supposed to get windy and cold on sunday .
My kid is itching to get out so hopefully it will warm up again this winter.

You guys might want to change to going on sat rather than on sunday due to weather.  Sunday is suppose tyo be cold    and windy.

i am not basing my decision to go on Sunday based on weather... It's the only time I have to go.  But if it is going to be that bad... we'll have to see.
