Does anyone have any good squirrel recepices? I have eaten squirrel once and I marinted it in olive oil and cajun, and then grilled it.

Anyone else have a special way to prepare squirrel?

crock pot, potatoes, carrots, cream of celery soup... cook til the meat falls off the bones.

I would like to try smoking a few of them, that might be good.
I have in the past just dredge in flour and fry them up, Thats
good eating!

If you can handle the MSG, in the blender mix up a combination of soy sauce, cooking oil, pineapple juice and seasonings to your personal taste. (cumin, curry powder, and oregano are some of my personal favorites) Marinate the squirrel overnight if possible. The pineapple juice will help to tenderize it somewhat especially if it happens to be an older boar. Can use the gas grill but for most wild game I prefer the Weber. Add a little apple wood or other assorted wood for that additional smokey flavor.
